in spain we rented a car and drove all around the area of spain were barcelona is. we flew into a small place called girona. we stayed there for txo nights and one full day. we spent that day exploring the old part of the town. we saw this cool little courtyard with old castle like buildings and we walked on the old wall that surronds one side of the city (used surrond the whole city). after that we drove to barcelona and saw the antoni gaudi building which are so cool who evers reading this has to see them atleast once in there lives. then we drove to whole bunch of other places that i can't remember the names of and got lost most of the time. and we saw a cool palace. and we went to the beach. then mymom wanted to spend one more day in barcelona so we went to barcelona and went shopping then we went back to girona and dropped off the car and flew back to gotenberg again. and that's were i am now. oh and i allmost forgot in my last blog entry i said i got a new book and i finshed it and am now half way through the golden compass the first and i'm hoping to finish before i see the movie. and i'm hopefully going to see hairspray finally tonight.

gotenberg
after egypt we flew back to stolkholm because it was a one week deal from stolcholm then we basically spent the night at the airport and took a train back to gotenberg. and that's where i am now when we got back we didn't really do anything except homework and yesterday i got a new book, that reminds for who evers reading this, that cares, i never used to really like reading but now i'm actually reading kind of fast or at least faster, and in 4 months i've read 8 or 9 books all of which really enjoyed. before i would read about one book a year so 8 or 9 books in 4 months is alot for me.
egypt
when we arrived in egypt it wasn't the best way we could start our tropical vacation that's for sure we ended up waiting over two hours for are room to be ready. so we went to the beach for dinner and there was this adorable little beach puppy i named him tommy. after that we went back to the hotel and luckily the room was done so we went up it was a terrible romm things were falling apart and there was a broken fridge sitting in the middle of the room so any way it was not the best hotel. the next day we had a much better time, i figured out that the tv in our room had a channel that ran movies all day long and we had a nice brunch. all in all after that first day we had a great time in egypt we went snorcleing which was so cool i saw rainbow fish and this huge green fish and many more. we also saw the pyramids and we went on a tour and got to climb deep down a tunnel into the queens tomb. we also bought perfume for people and us i got a kind of perfume that's called lovely and it took fifteen minutes to sniff it out. so we had a great time in egypt.
stockholm
in stolckholm we stayed in a small apartment right next door to the son of the people we stayed with in oslo and his family which was a son about my age and a daughter around nine neither one knew how to speak english very well. we went on a hike on an island and had a buffet for lunch. then we took the ferry back and played a three language scrabble game. we also saw ratatouille and shrek three and played twister and cards and watched movies on the tv.
after bergen
after bergen we went back to oslo for a few days doing hardly nothing but we did go for a long drive up in the country area where are ancestors were from and went to a museum and a couple old churches it was kind of fun. after that we went to sweden. in sweden we did alot of homework and stuff but we did go to a really cool science museum were they had an indoor rain forest. where there were monkeys and snakes and fish and these huge electric eels. right next to the science museum is an amusment park which we also went to. we went on few rides but not all of them and had lots of fun. there were these wheel of fortune games were you could win giant sized chocolate bars me and my mom tried them but we didn't win. that's mainly all we did in gotenberg (which was where we were, sorry forgot to mention that). then we went to stolckholm.

on the island
ruths brother lives on an i sland in cork so we decided we'd rent a house on the island. the house was nice and it wasn't to far away from the beach. we spent 2 or 3 nights there. on the second day i found out the terrible truth about the place it was haunted... with spiders they were everywhere and i'm terrified of them but i mde it through the night. me and my mom went to the little beach together and collected sea shells. then we went the bigger beach and started to make a sand castle but the tide was coming in too fast. we tried to save it my mom gave up but i kept fighting. finaly i got the citizens and queen and king to safty but there castle was gone. i put them on high ground so someone else could build them a castle and city away from the shore. at night we had lots offun playing cards eating cookies and telling stories. me and my mom left early but ruth stayed longer.
cork
on our way to cork we stopped at a friend of ruths and i think my mom knows them too there a couple with 2 kids. the kids were both younger than me and kind of had a liking for me, i played with them in there back yard. i'm sure it was lots of fun for them and it was kind of fun for me too. we stayed there one day and one night and sort of a half day before we left in the morning. when we arrived at the house it was very similar to what i thought the house in my book look liked it was semi big and all three of us had our own room. me and my mom went on a drive up into the mountains and had a hike it was lots of fun but when we were going back i was tired and decided to stop i told my mom i'd walk back by myself or catch up with her. so i stopped and looked out at the scenery and by the time i started walking my mom was so far a head i couldn't see her so i walked the rest by my self. which was fine i knew the way back and all i was ok until... i reached an area of the path were there was a cow. now i knew cows and goats are pratickly harmless and i knew they wandered the mountains but i still had a sort of fear of it so i decided i just walk a little side ways over a small hill to another path. which was fine too and it made me feel a little more safe. but when i walked up the little hill i saw there were 3 other cows there so idecided i would walk over to the other side over another small hill when i got there were no cows so i was fine so i walked straight on up the path. i walked along the path for a while untill i realised that the path was sort of disappearing and the graas was getting longer so i decided i would walk side ways up the small hill i already walked over to get away from the cows because i assumed that i had walked past them but apparently they must have followed me bacause when i reached the top of the hill right there was the cow. but i was fine a little startled but i just decided that i would walk straight on and i did and i was fine just a little scared. so that is my weird cow story and practickly what i did in the little white house. oh wait i almost forgot in the little town we stayed in the was a country fair going on so we also went there but thats about all we did in that town.
dublin
so far we've spent most of this trip in dublin. when we went to dublin we stayed with a friend her name is ruth. for the first few days when we were there we went to the library and museums and all that learning stuff. then as we were there longer we started just staying at home and occasionally going out. soon after we arrived in dublin there was a party celebrating us coming. three girls around my age were at the party we had lots of fun especially me and anya. we went shopping two days later and saw a movie. we saw each other occasionaly like one time at diiner and we ran into each other at the store but we didn't see alot of each other untill i invited her to come with us to a music festival. which was really fun and cultural they had foods and things from all around the world. the two other girls at the party didn't live as close and i never really got there phone numbers so i only saw them at the party. a little while after the music festival we went on a holiday to cork. which i will talk about in my next entry but before i forget i wanted to tell who evers reading this about a new show i saw on tv called H2O just add water its an australian show and i think its cool its about three girls; cleo, rikki, emma that were given a gift so that everytime evan a drop of water touches them they turn into mermaids it's about there lives trying to hide it from everyone and also there love life each of them has a crush. this gift also gave them powers cleo can control water, rikki can steam and boil water, and emma can freeze water.so ya it's really cool. bi.
shefield
in shepfield we stayed with my moms friend russ. shepfield was like my holiday besides on the boat because when we were there i had lots of fun. first of all the tv there had all my favorite channels all day and we went bowling and went to see the simpsons movie. we also went for a drive in the country where we saw little villages, cows, hills, mountains, fields, horses, and then we stopped at a palace and had lunch and went down into the fields to see the sheep it was lots of fun. on the last day or the second last day we went shopping, sort of, we wondered around the city part of shepfield. pocked our heads into a few shops and had fun. we only stayed there for 3 or 4 days so this is all i have to write bye.
London
in london we stayed with a woman named caroline. we spent each day that we were there going to museums. in london there were lots of areas where there were parks and forested areas in the middle of the neighborhoods. we didn't spend much time here so this entry will soon be ending. on the last or second last daywe stayed with her we went out to dinner at a small pub. one of the days we went to a place called fort henry it was a long walk so i deided to bring my ipod and my game boy just in case i got bored (if any one who is reading this dosn't know what a gameboy is it is a small electronic contraption and when you put a special game in you can play it) which was really stupid of me because n the way back some time along the way my gameboy fell out of my pocket and i did not find it (never ever bring your gameboy on a long trip through the forest it will most likely get lost i found that out the hard way). it was a very sad tradgety but later when i was in dublin (which i will talk about later) when i called home and talked to my step sister she ever so nicely asked if i wanted her when i told her about the tradgety and now i'm trying to think of a way to re-pay her but that has nothing to do with this. bi.
on the ship
when we took our first step onto the biggest ocean liner on the atlantic it felt like we steped into a palce we entered into the lobby which was red and gold and just so elegant so we felt like royalty and through the whole trip we were treated like royalty. we where on level 6 which is where one of the main exits to the back of the ship was and the zone where the kids hang out from all ages (supervied by adults of course). we had a small room but how everything was organized it felt quite big. i spent, sadly, most of the time in the room watching free videos for the first two days. because of that i missed the exciting leaving port party i was told it was really cool with ribbons and streamers every where and the champaign flying everywhere. i felt sad i missed it but the rest of the time i had fun out side the room. on the first or i think it was second day me and my mom went kind of exploring the ship we went the library and the pools and what not. then on the third day i was pushed out of the room to go to check out the kids programme and go to the library for reasearch. i went to one of the scavenger like games and had lots of fun i met some friends and kept going to the games and that ended being what i did mostly on the Queen Mary 2.

new york experience
dear...um people i should have started this blog when i left toronto but at least i'm making one now before the trips over so no complaints. my trip has been pretty fun. my first destination was new york it was ok but i'll definatly say that i'm not one of those girls who goes to new york and than has to be dragged out by there parents, of course i'm also not one of those girls who's flight lands at 12:00 than catches their flight home at 12:05. i'd have to say i'm one of those girls who goes has an ok time and will come back in a few years when i entirely forget the experience. when i was there the only thing i really didn't like alot was the experience not really the place. new york it self i think is a very interesting, busy place and i'm ok with that it's just the only thing we did, we'll not the only thing though it did feel like it, was WALKING! so if i do go back i'll probably spend most of my money on cab rides in stead of on museums and sight seeing stuff. so any way that was my new york experience and thoughts.
